Sleeping beauty

Alex sleeps on his tummy. Sometimes he sleeps on his knees. Actually this is probably the only time both knees touch the ground at once because when he crawls he crawls on on knee (left) and one foot.
When we put Alex in his cot he turns onto his belly and sticks his face in a corner to sleep (and drools all over sheets). Usually he is flat out but a few times I've caught him sleeping on his knees. This is the first time I've taken photos.
He wont keep any covers over him so at night he sleeps in a sleeping bag. During the day he has a lighter weight sleeping bag if it's cool or a selection of different weight outfits to sleep in with or without socks. I know cot bumpers are considered bad (at least in Australia) but he has one to keep his head off the bars and it also stops his feet sliding out when he stands on the edge of the mattress.
He is so cute when he sleeps like this. The really funny thing is that all his teddies, even the ones not in the shot, were 'sleeping' in the same position. After the first photo Graham picked up the blue bear and underneath was Alex's giraffe in the same face down position. Graham then put blue bear back sitting up. Alex was so deeply asleep he didn't stir at all through this.
