Can anyone else see the words 'all gone' in this photo?
These are Alex's fridge magnet numbers. He enjoys playing with them but mostly he likes to move them from the fridge to the dishwasher and back.
I walked into the kitchen the other morning to see this. It sure looks like someone has written 'all gone' to me. I wonder if it's referring to the long weekend or all the chocolate?
All gone is the thing Alex says most clearly and the only words he combines. He says all gone when he has finished with something or when the music stops or when a TV show ends.
Saturday we went to Ikea. I had no idea that Easter Saturday would be such a busy shopping day, especially for furniture! It was the busiest I've ever seen Ikea. I thought there must have been a sale on I didn't know about. Anyway I got the photo frames I went for and some things for Alex.
Alex went to stay with his Grandparents Saturday night and Sunday we went over and had an Easter egg hunt for him before we brought him home.
It was a wet and dull day so not the best for photos but it makes the garden look very green :)
He had no problems finding the eggs but got distracted by unwrapping and eating them on the way, either that or dunking them in the bird baths.
When he got to a grate with an egg 'hiden' on it he decided it was better to take all the eggs he'd found out of the basket and line them up on the grate. Not sure why but they did look pretty there.
There was an egg in the rain gage and Alex couldn't pull it out so he had to tip it out and then put the rain gain back.
Grandma had some chocolate rabbits for Alex.
He wasn't sure about eating the bunny though.
Alex thought Grumpa's wine glass looked tastier.
A rare quiet moment.
Grandma's maggie came to visit.

How uncanny with the magnetic letters and numbers!
Alex looks like he had lots of fun! He must have an eye for colour already - and the perfect picture - by lining up his eggs.
Love to read your blog!
